Cinnamon was one of our first Tunis lambs born on the farm along with her twin brother
Cocoa. Tunis sheep are a very old breed and were very popular until they almost became
extinct during the Civil War. A small flock of about 17 sheep was saved after the war and
they grew in size, but they are still considered to be a rare breed. Cinnamon was a
favorite of kids as she was very friendly and affectionate, and would even wear hats. When
she was old enough to have babies, Cinnamon always had twin red lambs. Her wool was even
used by spinners to make strong yarn for weaving.
